Amateurish and Deceptive samsung.com Ran up My Telephone Billing and Made Me Incurred Overdraft Charges
Samsung is a big- time cheat. The Samsung support center are the most inept set-up I have ever come to engage. I had always been dazzled with the thin plasma TV that can be wall- mounted when it had eventually got cheap enough I booked my purchase at Samsung’s website. I had ordered the top sky TV package to go with it as I was going to begin having buddies over once a week for the football and figured it would be superb for the World Cup in the summer as the clubs would be packed and it would be certainly expensive. On the day when my television was meant to be delivered I had a call from the payment team at Samsung. The guy alleged that the payment had been unsuccessful which I realized to be not true after a follow-up conversation with my bank. I called Samsung back and confirmed with them that my credit card was good but the helpline guy still persisted they could not capture the money I got so distressed with them that I told them to call off the deal and I would get the TV from the shop. The payment guy did not object to the cancellation as they couldn’t deduct any cash anyway. Two months down the road, a package came to my apartment. I was at work when it was delivered my neighbor signed for the package on my behalf. After I got home, there was a giant box laying outside my doorstep, I was relieved it didn’t catch fire, still had absolutely no knowledge on what it was. The moment I opened it up, I discovered that it was the television which I had initially purchased at Samsung’s website. At that time, I had purchased bigger screen plasma set from some retailer, looked like Samsung had mistakenly delivered me free TV since the last time we communicated, it was agreed that the order was cancelled after all Samsung could not debit my bank account. Not TRUE. Beyond a doubt somebody at Samsung must have reworked the delivery system, resulting the cancelled television to find its way to my apartment and a debit of £3500 onto my account; I did not see this payment and this unfair consumer practice caused an overdrawn status on my account - taking money from my bank without asking! It was only after 50 phone calls stretching 3 months then Samsung customer service center agreed to a full refund still I ended up £200 poorer due to the interest on my overdrawn account during those 3 months.
